Inspired by life and experiences

How I always wanted, even for only 1 time in my life, to write a book!

How it started with curiosity and interest

Hello everyone, thank you for visiting this page, where I want to tell you, inspired at a young age, about my goal writing a book! Certainly I was willing to do this writing once in my life. Though I’m new to writing, I’ve long been passionate about literature. For years, I’ve enjoyed reading books, magazines, newsletters, and newspapers. I mainly think of it as a pastime, a means to expand my knowledge, connect with others, and more. Additionally, I’ve found that if you choose to undertake your own project alongside numerous other activities, it provides a unique space where you can achieve your objectives.Besides the language you use to write is making it more a challenge.

So, I expressed myself at the end and this time very serious about my small dream which is getting more and more bigger, then it ever was. Let me tell you about it.

In the time of being young, follow education etc. I was simply a young woman with a story much like anyone else’s. Over time, I realized how often we feel pressured to explain who we are, what we do, and where we come from—at work, in private, online. I used to follow that pattern too, until I began to question it. Maybe introductions don’t need to be perfect pictures. Maybe we should first look at what someone creates or chooses to share.

You remain the same person — only the flow can change.

So why written a book? My question too, years ago. Why should I write a book. My interest in reading a book makes me curious to write a book. After a course online and lots of inspiration every where I could find something I wrote a short story.

The (manus) script I wrote 15 years ago became interesting again.A story that waited quietly in the background. I began reworking it, infusing it with a fresh tone and preparing it for its journey as a book.

The book is about situations who can make people dull, distracted or dramatic. They need to find a way to change or to get rid off feelings they do not need further in life.

Writing is erasing!

My name is Jakoba Romkes, living and working in Berlin since October 2025. My age is 50 plus. I like listen to music, reading, sightseeing, travelling and so much more.

EVERYTHING THAT MAKES IT WILL HAPPEN!

(Uncovering) THE INTRO OF THE SCRIPT to the book.

To uncover some fragments of the script and telling you more where it is about and how it is getting more interesting to rewrite the script, it is better to let you know honestly, I am a hobbyist who is writing a book as a passion she always wanted.

My education is a mix of theories, practice and work-outs. Life and travel experiences, languages and out of the box behavior. Growing up in unusual family circumstances, I took changes and left them also. I made myself new ones, but came back to the first ones. One of them was writing a book.

At the moments in life when it all was more balanced, and life was feeling good, I notice how I build up the good memories and leave the other ones behind. With this experience, I want to say, I start with something and work my way to it. No obstacles, no interferences just my goal, my fun, and sharing this writing experiences with the ones who want to know.

Fragments of the script to rewrite….. for the book I am writing.

Adventure of Sorena

“Giving up all that felt like a leap into the deep, a jump without a parachute. The treasure hunters on the screen seemed so brave, so driven. Could she be that too? Or was her dream merely a fleeting fantasy, ignited by an engaging television program, that would dissolve as soon as the credits started to roll? The rain continued to patter steadily, a gentle but relentless reminder of the gray, everyday world outside her window”.

And:

“It was sweltering hot, but Sorena still felt satisfied with her choice of vacation. The company was nice. In the group, there were many different types of people. From young to old, alone or together. She could talk to everyone. She was having a great time. Curious as she was, she went inside a small café. It wasn’t very busy, but it was still early afternoon; many people rest at this hour of the day. She ordered a drink with lemon, which gave her a bit of refreshment. The man behind the bar noticed that she was curious about something and asked her if she had seen the city yet. Sorena turned bright red and felt a bit caught”.

To keep you informed about the progress of this rewriting process, I’ll share the link to my Substack with you. My Substack is titled “Writing Emotions.” During the rewriting process, I often find myself distracted, and I’ve noticed that my writing process is hindered by my emotions, leading to delays in creating my text. It would take too much time to rewrite my script to make it longer.

I invite you to read my first article, titled “The Need for Design: How I Got Stuck While Creating the Main Character for My Book,” on my Substack. “Writing emotions.”
